All web sites designed and hosted by Chameleon Web Design are priced very competitively; actual price will vary depending on the type and complexity of web site you desire. Any future redesigns would also be priced based on the time involved in the project. And if you host your site with us, all updates are free!*

A typical website (consisting of a main or home page, along with a few to several pages for product info, etc) typically starts out at $50.00 per page. E-commerce sites, database programming, or extensive graphic design typically are a little more involved - the actual cost would depend on the complexity of the site. For more specific information, or for a personalized quote for your site, please fill out our quote request. Estimates are always free!

While we will offer suggestions or design tips, we ultimately design the site to your specifications. The more information you can provide to us (logos, text / descriptions, other sites / designs / layouts that you've liked, effects you want to include, etc), the better we can meet your needs. Just a few things to consider:

  • Logos, company letterhead, etc.
  • Other marketing materials you've used (brochures, newspaper or radio ads, etc.)
  • Color schemes
  • Designs, layouts, or special effects from other sites that you liked.

Once we have that information, we'll typically put together 2-3 different layouts, based on your specifications, for you to preview. From there, we can you can choose one you like, mix and match elements from each, or decide to scrap them all and start over. Basically, we're not happy until you are - we work with you to provide a site worthy of having your company name on it.

To get started, in addition to the above information, we'll need the following:

  • The domain registration fee **
  • 50% of the estimated initial design cost

The remaining balances then would not be due until completion of the site, to your standards. Hosting begins at the time your site goes "live" - not when we start development.
